HOW TO BUILD A CHICKEN COOP REVIEW
When I first saw this product, I laughed! Then, I realized that this was one of the very things
that my husband and I had been discussing. Raising chickens. Our dream when we retire is to be out in the
country and be as self-sufficient as possible. That means chickens and solar power.
However, you simply cannot go about these projects willy-nilly. NO! You must have a plan. When I
was a child, my grandfather kept chickens. When I visited, my job was to help him feed the chickens. Well, the
chickens knew that I was deathly afraid of them and they flogged me every time I went into the chicken coop. So, my
plan is to have my husband feed the chickens. I'll cook the eggs any way he likes, I'll clean the coops while
the chickens are in the free range cage and tend to any other chore except feeding them.
But, all joking aside, I'm grown up now and I think I can take 'em, but, you need to know what
you're doing when it comes to building a chicken coop to properly house your flock. They need to be protected from
predators, climate, and health issues and this book is a great guide.
Here are just some of the instructions you will find in this book.
- How to build three different sizes of chicken coops
- How to pick the correct breed of chicken
- How to set up the site for your chicken coop
- How to care for your chickens to keep them healthy
- How to protect your chickens from predators
- What to feed your chickens
You need to remember that you are caring for living creatures and you should do it right or not at all.
If you don't think there is a difference between fresh eggs and mass produced eggs, go visit a local farmers
market that has fresh eggs and taste for yourself.
Once the initial investment has been covered, you will reap the rewards for many years if you take care of those
chickens.
